Dr. Sabaté has a long experience in microsystems and smart system integration. She is CSIC Research Professor focusing her research on paper-based autonomous point-of-care devices.

Dr. Esquivel has developed several miniaturized power sources concepts over the years. He is also an Ikerbasque Research Associate Professor at BCMaterials, where he combines engineering, ecodesign, electrochemistry and material science with a product oriented approach.

Mr. Amat has a long track record in start-ups having been directly involved in creating a number of companies, including more than five, in the biotechnology sector.

Dr. Gassó has about 15 years experience in the in-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and Point of Care (PoC) field at an international level, in both R&D Senior and Manager positions. He is the founder and owner of Pragmatic Diagnostics.

Dr. Castellarnau has long experience in the development of analytical systems, ranging from biosensors to lab-on-a-chip devices, and more recently, in implementing self-powered and autonomous platforms for diagnostics.
