Dr. Esquivel has developed several miniaturized power sources concepts over the years. He is a Tenured Scientist at CSIC, where he combines engineering, electrochemistry, paper microfluidics and printed electronics technologies with a product oriented approach.

Dr. Gassó has about 15 years experience in the in-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and Point of Care (PoC) field at an international level, in both R&D Senior and Manager positions. He is the founder and owner of Pragmatic Diagnostics.

Dr. Castellarnau has long experience in the development of analytical systems, ranging from biosensors to lab-on-a-chip devices, and more recently, in implementing self-powered and autonomous platforms for diagnostics.

Dr. Gonzalez-Valls has a background in Material Science and Organic Chemistry, with an extensive knowledge in materials preparation and characterization, prototyping and reel-to-reel processes.
David Pascual

Product Development Engineer
He holds a BSc in Industrial Electronics and MSc in Production Management. He has long experience in Consumer Electronics and R&D Development Centers like a HW engineer as well as Production Manager in Medical Devices Industries.

Sílvia Miquel

Lab Technician
She has graduated in Nanoscience and nanotechnology in the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). In the last year, she specialized in energy nanomaterials and has carried out her final degree project in solid state batteries in the Energy’s Research Institute of Catalonia (IREC).
